We celebrated Safer Internet Day. From Reception to Year 6, we focused on 4 key areas: content (what children may be exposed to online); contact (who children may come into contact with online); conduct (online behaviour) and commerce (hidden costs, advertising, online gambling). Below is a selection of work from each class which can be used as a discussion starter with your child when talking about the importance of keeping themselves safe online.
We ask that parents closely monitor their child's online activity and ensure they have set up parental controls on every device so that children only have access to age-appropriate content.
