On Friday 4th November, Year 6 paid their respects at the Remembrance Service for service pupils at Ripon Cathedral. Over 600 pupils attended from schools across North Yorkshire. Every child in our school has decorated a poppy for the Remembrance display at John Blenkiron & Sons Funeral Directors. The whole school paid their respects for those who have fought for their countries by holding a 2-minute silence at 11am on 11th November. A wreath will be laid on behalf of everyone at Hipswell C of E Primary School at the war memorial at St. John's Church during the Service of Remembrance on Sunday 13th November.
