The Governing Body wish to appoint an outstanding and committed deputy headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team. There will be a regular teaching commitment of approximately 3 days per week. The successful candidate will:
· Lead our Christian vision and associated values.
· Be an outstanding classroom teacher with the ability to model this throughout school, motivating and inspiring staff and children to achieve the highest standards.
· Have consistent high expectations for all, prioritising pupil wellbeing and outcomes.
· Provide a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment where pupils flourish and are supported to reach their full potential.
· Actively contribute to the professional development of staff, driving excellence in teaching and learning.
· Have exceptional knowledge and understanding of curriculum development, in order to lead our team of curriculum leaders effectively.
· Have strong communication skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with pupils, families, colleagues and wider professionals.
· Have significant experience of successful strategic planning and continuous school improvement.
· Deputise in the absence of the Headteacher, leading operational oversight of the school with the support of the Senior Leadership Team.
· Lead with integrity and empathy.
· Foster a vigilant safeguarding culture, ensuring the highest standards of child protection. Have experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead or significant responsibility for safeguarding practice.
